Artist's Statement - Simon Croft is a London based trans-man and artist with a particular interest in the rapidly evolving visual and literary expressions of the FtM trans experience and how they contribute to trans community and culture.

My current practice involves making objects that explore and use the paradoxes inherent in trans-existence and that offer a semi-abstracted reflection on my experience as a trans-man.

The pieces I'm showing at TransFabulous are largely concerned with the relational aspects of trans-life, stemming from immediate familial relationships and broadening into more general social relationships.
