Transfabulous Group Art Show

With our aim to champion transgender arts and culture, we present our second year of the Transfabulous Visual Arts Group Show.

Jayne County. US based, performance artist, renowned Queen of Punk, legendary Stonewall veteran and acclaimed memoirist. Jayne’s paintings reveal yet another facet of her innovative creativity, with a rare UK exhibition opportunity to view the outsider art from our queercore heroine.

Lucas McKenna Bethnal Green Seamster, presents a life affirming appliqué made especially for Transfabulous.

Mandy Romero, Performance and Photographs. Liverpool’s self ­appointed ‘Queen of Culture’. Shows photographs from her ‘Lost Monuments of Helsinki’ series. Plus treats us to Live Art performances “You and Me- Self Portraits For Your Entertainment’ 6pm on the 15th and ‘From ‘The Mandayana- the life and times of a transgender heroine/hero’’’ 2pm 16th June in the gallery.

Mauro Cocilio, London based Portrait & Documentary Photographer, shows portraits from his time immersed in the London trans club scene.

Bobbie Jones, freelance designer/illustrator, based in Hereford. Exhibits a broad and adventurous group of mixed media self-portraits from ‘Dodo Self’ to ‘Satin Brick Self Portrait’, and other visual comments in sculpture and painting.

Sachi ‘Scratch’ Nehra, artist, dj and queer activist exhibits photographs exploring identity and body image, plus a festival workshop on Sat.16th at 5:30pm.
