Thomas Appelton
Thomas Appelton has a beautiful voice. He'll be singing at the Genderqueer Playhouse, accompanied by Jessica Lauren on piano.
Jason Elvis Barker
Jason took a knock in confidence when he found himself bottom of the class on a stand-up comedy evening course. Luckily it hasn't stopped him showing off, he just calls his performance "spoken word" rather than comedy. For this year's festival, Jason will pay tribute to "the moob".
Kate Bornstein
KATE BORNSTEIN is an author, playwright and performance artist whose latest book is "Hello, Cruel World: 101 Alternatives To Suicide For Teens, Freaks, and Other Outlaws."
Other published works include the books "Gender Outlaw: On Men, Women and the Rest of Us" and "My Gender Workbook". Kate's books are taught in over 120 colleges and universities around the world; and ze has performed hir work live on college campuses, and in theaters and performance spaces across North America, Europe, and Australia. Her new memoir, "Kate Bornstein Is A Queer and Pleasant Danger," is due in bookstores in September, 2008,

Hilda Eusébio
Hilda Eusébio left her native Toronto to pursue a career as a performance artist. Her first stop was Lisbon where she performed for Ávila Costa's notoriously surreal GTL Theatre Company before founding and performing with the highly acclaimed Focus Theatre Company.
She came to London and found the award-winning Mapping4D with whom she has been devising and performing since 2002 in such productions as Little English, Vertigo, The Pink Bits and Slender. Hilda’s alter-ego ‘Jack the Drag King in Evolution' began his difficult journey at Pas de Piaf Cabaret and has gone on to perform for Best of Bar Wotever, Rococo Cabaret and the Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club Karaoke Night.

Jessica Lauren is a keyboard and harmonica player with two albums of her own as well as having played and recorded with many other musicians and producers.

Lucille Power/Bunny Coppafeel
Lucille is a live art practitioner, with a background in visual arts and dance. Her practice is cross-media, including performance, video, text, installation and sound. Her practice is largely participatory, and has become increasingly playful in recent years, encompassing magic, roller-skating, cake-decorating, and balloon modelling.
